MEETING AT WELLINGTON
Ihe Wellington Land Board met yesterday. Present: Messrs James Mackenzie (Crown Lands Commissioner), J. Dawson, H. T. Ellingham, J . Georgetti, and W. McLennan The ; transfer of setion 17, block 8, and section 18, block 4, Tiririkawa 400 acres, to Mr R, McDowell, was held over till next meeting, to allow botli parties to attend. »
Ihe transfer of secton 13, block 6 Mangaweka towuslip, from Mrs Alice >Skmner to Mr James "Wα ugh was a improved.
The 'transfer of section 30, Ohakuno \-b to iA. J. Petersen (16 acres), is to be recommended for the favourable consideration of tho Minister when tho required improvements are made It was resolved to ask for payment of the capital price of an area of la Or .26.2p part of section IG, Taihape \ -b., to be dedicated for a road and to recommend the dedication for the consent of the Minister .
i m, "'spection of Mr W. H. Wardel si small grazing. -run 53, blocks 13 and 14, Rewa, 12-10 acres, which expires on February 28, IUI3, is to bo made next month.
It \\ -as resolved to empower the Commissioner to grant ,a license to Mr Smverl.y to mill such area of •■section block », Ivanoi, as he may determine at the royalties recommended br the ranger. It was decided that in openhi"- future lands for selection effect will be given to the provisions of sections 103 10 ; -, and lO.j of the Land Act, 1908 . J'lie ranger is to report on deficient improvements on section 15, block 10 Horopito, Mrs i. Coldstream.
