• -<JB- , [run PKESS ASSOCIATION.] A NASTY 'ACCIDENT. Gisborne, December 18. A waggon meeting a motor car on Hill Road, went over the bank, and the waggoner, J. Robertson, was penned -underneath. He had the stump or a leg. which had previously been amputated, .broken, and was severely bruised about the face and injured m tho back. He was .removed to the hospital. KILLED HY A FALLINGHOARDING. Auckland, December 18. A youth about IS years of age, unidentified, was walking past the new post office in Lower Queen Street this morning, when the gale blew -down a hoarding which threw him against tho rail erected for the protection of pedestrians from street traffic; and was ailed instantaneously, with his neck broken. A hoy crawled' from beneath the hoarding uninjured, and a man pasnig had his head cut, but otherwise esoaned injury.
