CHELTENHAM SPORTS.
For .this big event on New Year's Day, Daw's Band has been engaged. Tho ground has been put in splendid order. Mr E. Short (Patron) has promised a substantial donation. Milk and hot water is to be provided free to all visitors, aud Mr R. Moore will run a drag from Feilding. A dance will he h~old in the hall" after -tho sports. The interest in the sports meeting is very keen. A tug-of-war on horseback and a distance race has. been included in the sports programme.
