SUCCESS OF DISHONESTY.

THE REV. R. J. CAMPBELL

ROUSES AMERICAN ANGER

New York. October 31. The Rev. R, J. Campbell, who arrived her a few days, ago to tour ' America, has aroused great indignation among laymen and clergymen alike by declaring yesterday that every successful business man is dishonest. This assertion was made during an address before a congregation ot many denominations at the First Baptist church in Philadelphia. Mr Campbell stated:— "As a matter of cold fact, no successful business man in modern times can be honest. The conditions oh business are such to-day that a business man must take advantage of his competitors every chance he gets or go to the wall. "Competition is too keen, and there is no hope of an improvement until business shall be conducted in a Christian way. To me, it is humorous to observe the differences men establish Tictween their behaviour in business and in their private lives."
