Under the chairmanship of 31 r John Morrison an entertainment was held in that gentleman's granary in aid of the school prize- fund on Thursday liifiKt. TUc fi K »:t-itaiu.-Oiv-tlia_.l ) irL of .fare was a lecture by Inspector C. 1). ]Jraik on Imperial Sovereigns, with special reternce to the Coronation of King George in London and Delhi, illustrated by photo slides of the ceremony. The lecture was nineli.r-rc-ciated by the largo audience present. The second portion of the programme was occupied by songs and dances by the native children. The tflurcT portion consisted of recitations and humorous stories, of which "Rain while You Wait" was the star item. Mr Morrison presented the prizes won by tho school children.
