COMPLIMENTARY.
After the oratorio was concluded in the- Lyceum Theatre last night, the visitors from Palmerston, Sandon, a-nd Rongotea and soloists who assisted in the production were entertained at supper by members of the chorus atPatersoii's rooms. 021 the motion of Messrs H. Temple White and A. Richmond, a hearty vote of thanks and appreciation was given to the gentlemen from Palmerston who assisted in the orchestra. Mr AY. AYoolhouse, in responding, congratulated the Society upon the great success it had achieved that night. A similar vote was given to the Lyceum Co. for the courtesy extended in the use of the hall, and iur Toomath, in responding, said bis company 'had the welfare of Feilding at heart, and was always ready to help local affairs. Tihe Society's Conductor (Mr "White) was honoured with rounds of cheers for the services he had ren- : dered in producing the oratorio. Re- ; cognition was also paid by cheers to ; Madame Emily Briggs (soloist),, Richmond (pianiste), Mr J. C. Cr'ean (leader of orchestra), and Miss Curran 1 (secretary). -.. r .
