DISASTROUS.
FOREST FIRES IN AMERICA
BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received November 28, 11.40 a.m.) New York, Nov. 27. It is reported from. Santa Monica, in California, 'that a. raaichtr, his wife, and four children perished in the forest fires at Topago Canyon. A hundred persons escaped by almost impassable trails. Wild animals were driven out of the forest- to the seashore by the flames.
