At the first meeting of Wellingnew Harbour Board yesterday, which Mr J. G. Cobbe attended, the Chairman (Mr R. Fletcher) welcomed the new members, especially those from the country. The representation of the rurai districts was largely increased, but he felt sure they would all work together, and there would be no issue of town versus country.
