(PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.! (Received May 4, 9.40 a.m.) London, May 3. The proposal to enrol 300 fisherman for a reserve force for mine-laying has been a failure, as only eleven mefci, fenrfolled. Th(e shortage has been due chiefly to insufficient pay for such risky work, and loss of wages during training.
