Renter's Pekin correspondent says that British marines are guarding Shemeen, the foreign residential part of Canton, and guns have been posted along the canal. The rebels unsuccessfully attacked the police station between the city and the foreign settlement. Revolutionaries burned four yamens at Futchan.
