WAIPUKURAU RACES.
. _ Napier, April 17. The Waipukurau meeting was held to-day. In the first race Ngakau and Lady Edna fell, and the jockeys, P. O'Brien and J. Griffiths, were injured,'though hot seriously. Results:— '-Maiden' Plate.—Elfbolt T. Golden Clasp 2, Scots Fusilier 3. Easter '/ —Obscurity 1, King's Lynn 2. Erin finished first, but was disqualified ac the jockey had weighed out without his breastplate. Hack Handicap.—Cork 1, Rauparo 2, Appin 3.
Waipukurau Handicap.—Amato 1, Golden Water 2, Voetgang 3. ''Two-year-old Handicap.—Altour 1, Formulate 2, Water o' Milk 3.
Flying-Handicap.—Lord Possible 1. Moreykbff 2, Erin 3. Filial Handicap.—Goldfinch 1, Perceler 2,' Gravest 3.
