The second day of the Greymouth autumn meeting was held on Saturday in perfect weather, with a large attendance. The totalisator investments amounted to £8800, an increase of £3300 for the meeting. Flying Handicap.—Rurik 1, Miss Sylvia 2, Wild Bird 3. Won by a short length. Time, 1.15. Ngahere Hack Handicap.—Negative 1, Katua 2, Divorce 3. Won easily. Time, 1.19. Midland Railway Handicap.—"Wild Bird 1, Shannon Lass 2 ; The Cornet 3. Won on the post. Time, 1.46 1-5. President's Handicap.— Hereward 1, L'Arglon 2, Millionaire 3. Won easily. Time, 51 2-5 sec. County Handicap.—Rurik 1, King Try 2, Miss Sylvia 3. Won easily. Time, 1.12.
Ahaura Welter Handicap.—Divorce 1, Pure Rose 2, First View 3. Time, 1.314-5.
Farewell Handicap.—Katua 1, Balmy Breee 2, Millionaire 3. Won by a length. Time, 51 3-5 sec.
