All the events in the foregoing programme are Handicaps, except the Maiden Scurry. PENALTIES. Flat Race.—The winner of any flat race exceeding 30 soys in value after declaration oi weights to carry a penalty of 101b, and of every additional race a further penalty of 61b. Horses handicapped at Bst 101b to carry only half the above penalties. Hurdle Races.—The winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101b in the hurdle races, and for every additional race 71b extra. NOMINATIONS, WEIGHTS, AND ACCEPTANCES. NOMINATIONS for all events, except Maiden Scurry, close with the Secretary at Feilding on FRIDAY, March 31, at 8.30 p.m. WEIGHTS for finst day's races will be declared on FRIDAY, April 7. ACCEPTANCES for first day's races and entries for Maiden Scurry close on MONDAY, April 10, at 8.30 p.m., and for the second day's races on MONDAY, April 17, at 9 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. All entries to be addressed to the Secretary, Feilding Jockey Club, Feilding, entrance money enclosed, with the name, age at time of entry, names of owner and trainer, pedigree, colours of rider, and, in cases of Handicaps where horsee have not previously started on the Feilding course, performances of the horse. Entrance moneys to go to the funds of the Club. 2. Entries by telegram must give full particulars of the horse, and must be confirmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity, otherwise a fine of 1 soy will be imposed. 3. Owners are responsible for all penalties and allowances. 4. All persons intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary one half-hour before the official time of starting the race. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this shall pay a fine, not exceeding 20 soys, to the Race Fund. 5. All races to be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing, as adopted by the Racing Conference of Now Zealand. 6. Prior to any race the Stewards may order a parade in front of the stand. Any horse absent from such parade at the time notified in the "rowramme, without the permission of the Stewards, will be fined 2 soys. 7. The Committee reserve the right to alter the date or time for declaration of weights, nominations, or acceptances as they may deem fit. EDMD. GOODBEHERE, Secretary.
