A mob at Durango. in the province of Viscaya, Spain, enraged because of being kept waiting for an aviation d •splay, wrecked the aeroplanes and burned the sheds. The gendarmes in dispersing the mob injured many of them. ? Paris. April 25. Mr Latham aeroplaned to and fro over the sea for a distance of 54 kilometres, establishing a record. The engine afterwards stopped, and the machine fell into the sea. Mr Latham wa« rescued unhurt. M. Decitors aeroplaned from Chalons to Dijon with a passenger. London, April 25. M. Farnran made a flight in a biplane with two motors, one of which stopped over his destination. Mr C. S. Rolls flew 50 miles over tbe sea twice, including 32 miles without: a. stop. M. Paulham has arrived in London, and intends attempting a flight from London to Manchester in a biplane similar to Mr White's. It i.5 expected that Mr Latham and Mr White will both aeroplane to Manchester, on Wednesday. (Received April 26, 9.50 a.m.) London, April 25. A. gale wrecked the new army experimental airship at Aldershot. The envelope was ripped from end to end. Renter's correspondent reports that the Zeppelin airship No. 2 dragged h"r anchors at Hamburg and was completely wrecked.
