t ß* TELEQRAPH —GOPYBiBHT.] PER PRESB ASSOCIATION. (Received March 30, 10 a.m.) Manila, March 29. Two Japanese who lately arrived in the Philippines bribed a member of ■the American Engineer Coups to take photographs and secure- the plans of the liorte.
Upon discovery, the engineer revealed the scheme. Japanese residents declare that the prisoners were acting for a foreign Power, and not for Japan.
