RESULTS OF THE SPORTS MEETING. The eighteenth annual contests of the. Rangiwahia Sports Club, held yesterday, were a success in every way. Amongst the many visitors was was the member for Oroua, Mr D. H. Guthrie. The weather was fine, the entries many, and the contests good. Deroles 2, Doroles 3. Tradesman's Chop.—E. Rule 1, K. McKenzie 2. B. Rule 3. The Bracelet.—M. Petersen 1, E. Rule 2. Aikman 3. Tug-of-war (7 men a-side). —McTntyre's team Avon. 150 Yards.— Petersen 1, Hensen 2, McKenzie 3. Tilting.—Monk 1. Fankhouser 2. Handicap Ohoo, ISm block.—Thomson 1, Hancox 2. 440 Yards.— Petersen 1. Arnott 2, Nix 3. Ladies' Hunting Competition.— Miss Goodwin rode the first and second horses. Maiden Pony.—Graham 1, P. A. Brvce 2. 880 Yards.—Nix 1, Rose 2, Arnott 3.
