At the Magistrate's Court this morning, before Mr A. 1). Thomson. 6.M., G. J. Webster sued A. P. Poote. «rid W. Hook for the recovery of £21 JOs for making a survey of* certain property on the Awahuri road. The defendant Hook -having paid £7 to ,the in full satisfaction of this claim, the ease against him was abandoned. Judgment was o-i V en against the defendant Foote for £7 with £2 2s costs. Mr Trewin appeared for plaintiff and Mr Prior for defendant.
