THE SCHOOL SHOW.

A CONCERT AT NIGHT.

Considerable interest was shown in yesterday's events in OEeltenham. From early morning boys and girls could be seen carrying the produce of (their gardens te the Show. Here a boy was te be seen bending under 1 the weight of a huge pumpkin, and 1 there a girl carrying a bouquet of autumn flowers. The open classes to all comers were well represented, and several interesting collections of vegetables for exhibition only were shown by the settlers. A very interesting display of school work by pupils was on view, besides baking, sweets, etc. The following is a list of tho princi--pal prize winners: — Aiap drawing,' subject, the North Island—Nelly Sinclair 1, Bertha Oldfield 2, Percy Burrell 3.
