MEETING OF MANAWATU COM-
MKTEE
The ordinary meeting of the committee of the A. and P. Association was held yesterday. The President, Mr C. A. J. Levett, presided, and there was a fair attendance of memGENEIIAL BUSINESS. Correspondence was received from the Gisborne Branch of the Farmers' Union forwarding; resolution passed at a public meeting there regarding the desirability of Government grading of exrport meat, and generally covering details in connection with the export business and providing facilities for chocking and protecting farmers' interests.—Referred to the Sheep Schedule Committee. Mr St. C. Jounneaux was elected to tho committee in place of Mr T. R. Hodder, who was elected vice-pre-sident. SUB-COMMITTEES. Finance.—Messrs C. A. J. Levett (president), J. M.
