A LAW STUDENT ARRESTED

The Lieut.-Governor of Bengal has ordered the confiscation of a qiiantity of waistcloths having their borders inscribed with the text of a seditious Bengali poem. London, March 14. Vinsijak Savarkar, an Indian law istudcut, who landed .-it Nowhaven. W'H arrested in London on an extradition warrant, charging bint with seditions conduct in India. He appear;; at Bow street to-day. Savarkar was a member of Gray's Inn, and acted as correspondent for Indian newspapers. He was remanded, bail being refused.
