SKIN AND HIDE SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams report: We offered a fair catalogue of skins and hides to a good attendance of buyers, prices being on a par with last sale. Skins: Crossbred BJd, coarse 7fd, half wools 6jd, dead 6£d, shorts and inferior 3d to sd, lambe 3s 6d, pelts 3s to 3s 4d, lambe pelts ;Is 9d. Hidee: Light cow 6fd to 6fd, light ox 7d to 7Jd, calf 6Jd to B|d. AUCKLAND STOCK SALES. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. send us the following weekly report from Auckland: — At the Durham yards horses were yarded in scarcely average numbers, ileav ydraughts sold at from £24 10s to £31 10s, medium £17 to £23, light harness horses and hacks £8 15s to £18, ponies £2 10s to £5 10s, waggon £30, buggy £22 10s. At the Pukekohe: yards we held our monthly sale, when there was a large yarding oi cattle of all descriptions. Dairy cows sold at £5 5s to £8 2s 6d, heifers £3 12s 6d to £6 12s 6d, empty cows £2 2s to £3 12s 6d. two to three-year-old steers £3 10s to £4 14s, 18-month-old steers £2 to £3 4s, yearlings £1 18s to £2 Bs. calves 15s to £1 7s, .beef at Westfield rates. At Westfield we had a good yarding of fat stock, which sold at late rates, ox beef selling up to 22s and cow 18s to 20s per. 1001b.
