BOUTTELL'S PICTURES.

The first of the regular Monday entertainments which BoutelPe Picture's are to give in Feilding was given in the Drill Hall last night, before an enthusiastic crowd of patrons. The pictures were of a high standard of interest, and evoked hearty applause and (the diverting ones) much laughter. Unfortunately, towards the close of the programme, "something went wrong with the works," and the programme could not bo completed, but the management treated life patrons generously with a free invitation to next Monday's show. Apropos, a correspondent sends us the folio wing letter:— Sir,_ Permit mo to draw public attention, through the medium of your correspondence columns, to the Watilying treatment molted out to myself and no doubt to the majority of those present by Mr Bouttell at his picture entertainment last evening. F or the benefit of those who were not present I might state that the entertainment was ot tho best. UnfortunateJy however, he was unable to complete tho programme owing to a slight break-down in the motor arrangements Ho nevertheless had tho courlr y e3C ßl ain t0 llis audience what SLr fficu lV es ; vere ' illKl notwithstanding tho .fact that only threo items of tho programme were omitted lie very kindly intimated that asses would be presented to those f or } "s next entertainment. Uhs conduct, in my opinion, certainly merits public merit.-—I am, etc., "Satisfied."
