MR HARRY RICKARDS'S VAUDEVILLE COMPANY.

The amusement-loving public of Feilding will welcome the news announced in our advertising columns this evening of the appearance here on Wednesday next, at the Drill Hall, of Mr Harry Rickards's vaudeville companies. The formidable array of talent comprising the present company appears to be particularly meritorious, for it includes a number of tho world's greatest star acts. Particular interest attaches to the first appearance of Mr and Mrs Bob Fitzsinimons, who will appear in the clover playlet which aroused a good deal of enthusiasm in England and America. During this sketch Mr Fitzsimmons will give an exhibition of ball-punch-ing, and Mrs Fitzsimmons (Miss Julia Gilford), who is a brilliant lyric soprano vocalist, will sing a number of now songs. The immense success of Mr Franco Piper has already preceded him. This artist, described as the maestro of the spinning, tossing, juggling, and swinging banjo, is said to be. a wonderful artist. He plays six banjos at the same time while juggling and tossing them about in all manner of ways. Franco Piper prides himself upon the tonal quality of his playing, and produces some wonderful effects upon this instrument. It has taken him a great number of' years to bring his present act to perfection. Another great performance is that of the three sister Trapnell, who are wonderful acrobats. These young ladies combine an elegance of movement with an extraordinary show of strength rarely witnessed on any stage. That well-known comedian Mr Fred Bluett, and Messrs Vaude and Verne supply the comic element of the show, and the Wheelers give a clever bicycle turn. Then there is a oinematograph record of the recent iLang-Fitzsimmons fight in Sydney. Altogether, a rare good show.
