There was a great crowd at Flemington for the third day and .splendid sport was enjoyed in beautiful weather. Results:— Hopeful Stakes, five furlongs.— Blairgour 1, Vera 2, Pendulous 3. Fourteen others started. Won. by five lengths.
All-aged Stakes, of lOOOsovs (added), one mile.—Malt King, 9.1, 1; Prince Foote, 8.6, 2; Dhobi, 9.0, 3. Won by two lengths. Time, 1.43 J. Autumn Handicap.—Orline 1, Carl Dour 2, ITiigario 3. Also ran: Glue, Doiiolly, Delawaore, Marled, Nushka. Won by .two lengths, one and a quarter lengths between second and third. Time 2.52.
Nursery Handicap, six furlongs.— Danans 1. Golden Point 2, Saori 3. Won by a short head. Time- 1.17-j.
Loch Plate, two miles.—Moruga 1, Diabolo 2. Flavian 3. Also started: Lord Nolan. Won by one three-quar-ter lengths. Time, '3.53.
River Handicap, one and a quarter miles.—Edenhohnc 1, Pretty Peg 2. Won by a length. Time, 2.9.
