AT TRENTHAM TO-DAY

PER PRESS ASSOCIATION

Treritham, March 4. Drizzling rain started at 5.30 o'clock' this morning, but there is a igood light for shooting. There were oUO competitors on the ground at 8.30, winch constitutes a record for the Dominion.

Firing started at 9 o'clock with the 200 yards range of the Volunteer and Rifle Clubs matches, which were, taken simultaneously. Drifting wind and drizzling rain upset the calculations of most of the men.

At the 500 range, G. Crimp (Green Island) and Bryan (Waiuku) scored possibles. The match will not finish until late this afternoon.
