A MEETING AT MARTON
MR JOLLY'S CALL,
/The ordinary meeting of the AV'anganui Presbytery was held at Marton Junction yesterday, when there • was a large attendance of members. A hearty welcome was extended to Rev. "J. D. Mackenzie, the '' new "minister of St. Paul's, Wanganui, ami to Mr Grundy, home missionary at Eastown. The Rev. AY. ' Trotter, of Auckland, being present, was associated with the P.resbvter.w I Apologies for bsence were received from Rev. A. Morton and Messrs Simpson and G. McGregor. The Rev. G. Budd was appointed moderator for the ensuing sh" ' months. " < It was reported that the Rev. E. G. ' Evans was duly inducted to the ' charge of Forded, and that the Rev. ■ ■J. V. Mackenzie was settled at Wanganui. A unanimous call from Foxton ,„ flu-™,. 0 f the Roy g. K. Aitken was sustained, and Mr Ait- , ken accepted it.
