Messrs Dalgety and Co. report at our Palmerston North sale this day a medium entry of sheep and cattle came forward. Sheep met witij. a ready sale, Jt>ut one or two lines of cattle failed to find buyers. (Sheep, shorn ewes and lambs" (all counted) 7s Id, fat and^forward ewes 9s 6d, Jat and forward wethers 11s 2d, two and four-tooth wethers 11s, two-tooth ewes 12s Bd, fat lambs 9s Id to 9s lOd. Cattle, forward cows £3 ss, fat and forward cows 1 £4, fat cows £4 10s, springing cows £4, 2}-year-old steers £4 9s, four-year bullocks £6 Is, springing heifers £5 10s to £6 10s.
