Christchurcu, December 1. Fat Cattle. — Steers realised £7 to £10, heifers £5 Ids to £ti> and cows £5 to £8 7s tid. Best steer beef realised 21s to 235, medium 18b to 20s 6d, and cow beef i/s 6d per 1001 b. In veal calves there was a fair entry, principally of puny animals and average demand, prices ranging from 4s 6d to £2, according to age, quality, and condition.
