LOOTING THE MAIL-BAGS. BETWEEN SPAIN AND GIBRALTAR. [by bleotbio telegraph— copyright.] [peb peeks association.] (Received April 9, 8.45 a.m.) London, 'April 8. The authorities at Scotland Yard are investigating a series of mail-bag robberies from the mails in transit to Spain from Gibraltar. The seams of the bags were cut and sewn up again after the robberies. Registered packets had been extracted and steamed open, and rifled of the contents. ■ The envelopes of letters were regummed and replaced in the bags.
