I MASSACRE AND DESTRUCTION. TEN VILLAGES AND THEIR PEOPLE DESTROYED. [hy electric telegraph — copyright.] [per press association.] (Received March 16, 8.30 a.m.) St. Petersburg, March 15. The Novoe Vremya reports that one thousand horsemen and ninety tribesmen, marching on the Persian bank of the river Araxes towards Julfa, pillaged and burnt ten villages and massacred the inhabitants. Many women, carrying children on their backs were shot when attempting to swim the river to the Russian bank.
