Percy, the well-known actor — who was leading comedian for many years in the Pollard Opera. Co. — was compelled to act an unusual role. He received a summons to attend before the Master of Lunacy and state the amount he was prepared to contribute towards the support of an inmate of an asylum who claimed to be his mother. Mr Percy, who had a similar experience some years ago, proved that his mother had been dead some sixteen yars.
