The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Feildmg, report as follows: — At Kimboltou on Tuesday a small yarding came forward. We effected a -clearance at the following rates: 3-year steers, small, £3; empty heifer.-;, 30s; cows in calf backward, to £3; empty cows, 30s; weaner gigs, 14s. At Feildmg on Friday there was a fair yarding of sheep and a medium one of" cattle. Both sheep and catr tie sold fairly well. We quote: Fat woolly ewes, 14s 7d; shorn ewes, »s lid; small shorn hoggets, 9s 7d ; yearling to 15-months steers, £2 7s; mixed yearlings, 255, Messrs Gorton and Son report: — At Bulls on Monday we had a good entry in both sheep and cattle. A. H. Atkinson and Co., Ltd., report large entries and a keen market for all classes of poultry. Pigs ' wore forward in large numbei-s and of excellent quality, some nice weaners, bred by Mrs J. U. Cobbe, topped the niarKet at 16s 6d. Some 100 pigs in all were disposed of. Produce: New potatoes, Id to ljd per 1b ; pig 2s 6d to 3s 6d per sack ; rliubard 4d per bundle; spring onions 3d per bundle; damaged chaff Is 3d per sack: oats, good feed Algerians, 2s 3d per bushel. On Wednesday we held, at tlie mill, Santlon road, a highly successful sale or building and bridge timber on account of Messrs Beazer Bros.
