AN ACCOMMODATING MURDERER. COMMITS SUICIDE WHILST ON REMAND. [BY ELECTBIO TELEGRAPH— OOPTEWHT.] [PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.] Sydney, March 30. Kirk, who was awaiting trial for the murder of his wife and the woundiug of a man named Hocking, at Broken Hill, on February 8, hanged himself in his cell with the aid of a blanket. He left a note stating that he had tried to bleed himself to death, but failed. He had a slight wound on the arm.
