AUCKLAND *TOCK SALES. The NeAV Zealand Loan and Mercantile 'Agency Co., Ltd., repor.t on their Auckland sales: — Horses. — At the Durham Yards, we had an average entry which sold at ruling rates. Heavy draughts realised from £21 10s to £34 15s, medium do. £18 10s to £31 15s, light harness horses £8 15s to £17 10s, hacks £7 5s to £16, weeds £1 15s to £5 12s 6d. The raceiiorse Henry Haveloek realised ( 2h gs.. Nephrite bringing 15gs. Cattle. — At the Newmarket Yards fat stock were penned in full numbers, and met a brisk sale at improved rates. Oxen sold io 235, and cows to 18s to 20s per 1001 b. Steers sold at from- £5 10s to £9 17s 6d, cows £4 5s to £7 15s, dairy cows £3 15s to £7 10s, do. heifers £3 to £6 15s, empty cows £1 15s to £3 2s, calves 15s to £1 11s. The fat cattle were all light weights. Sheep were penned in usual numbers at Newmarket, and 6old at an advance on last week's rates, wethers .realising from 17s 6d to £1 3s 6d ; ewes 13s 6d to 19s 6d, well-fatted lambs 10s 6d to 18s 6d, other sorts 4s 6d to 9s. Pigs. — Porkers scJd at from £1 Is to £1 18s, weaners 4s to 12s 6d, baconers £2 2s to £3 6a.

Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North report:— We had a fail' entry of sheep at our FeiUding sale on the 20th inst., but owing to the very laii'ge proportion of aged and second rate ewes yarded, this class of stock was very dull of sale, the majority bringing little more than boiling down price. The demand far good sound young sheep was again keen, and there was rather more enquiry for lambs than there has been, of late. Our principal sales were 5 year Lincoln skinned ewes Bs, mixed age ewes 4s 9d, s.ni. ewes 7s 6d, full mouth ewes 4s 6d. 2 and 4 tooth ewes, small 11s 6d, full mouth rams 20s.
