ARRANGEMENTS WELL FORWARD. Members of the Society for the Pre■vention of Cruelty to Animals are busily engaged in completing the arTangements for the gymkhana, to be held on the race course on Wednesday next. The schedule, which lias already been issued through tho Stab, contains a list of prizes which shoufd gather together a good collection ot. entries, and in addition, a set of lancers on bicycles will be given. Afternoon tea will be procurable on the ground, and in addition there will be a sweet stall and a jumble stall. In the evening a fireworks display will be given by the members of the Feilding Fire. Brigade, which should prove an interesting feature, and the Brigadesmen have kindly arranged to run two five-men competitions. The Feilding Brass Band is _to render a programme of music during the evening.
