TOO FAR FOR JUNIORS?
For the junior snatch only five of the Foilding team turned up, conse•queutly the fixture had to be abaudoued. After making allowance for the fact that it is a considerable dajawback to have to go to Palmerston every Saturday to play, it has to be said that the practice or neglecting to put in an appearance after being expected to do so, and without giving any notice to the secretary, is not in the interests of the noble game. Just at this time, when the cricketers are asking the public and tie municipal body to assist them in the laying down of a first-class playing ground, it ill behoVes them to dhow « lack ot interest in the sport.
