Tito Daily Telegraph says that there was no greater disappointment at Tattersall's meeting than Maranui. who ran badly. He never seemed to get up the necessary pace to tako a hand with the 'leading division. Marnuui should have done better, oven although he did not get off with the loaders and was making his first appearance in public.
