Tin, spot £167 ss; three months, £166 15s. Lead, £20. Antimony, £8 10s. Silver, 2s 7 7 16d Copra, general decline 2s 6d to 12s 6d, South Sea £21, New Zealand hemp steady, New Zealand nearly due fair quality £29 ss ; good, £33. Linseed ofl, £25. Mutton, steady, notwithstanding the fact that arrivals are increasing rapidly. There is good demand for all qualities at prices quoted last week. Lamb continues in good demand for light-weights, but there is dull sale for heavy carcases. Canterbury brands, sid; other than Canterbury, s|d. No alteration in the beef market since last week. Butter, firm for best quality offerings. Choicest New Zealand, very small, 106s; .Danish, 112s; Siberian, 965; Canadian, 105s. Cheese, quiet, tendency favours buyers; no change in prices Bince last week. . No material change in hemp, buyers not being keen to do business. Cocksfoot seed, no pressure to sell, only light stocks on hand; prices unchanged. Grain market, firm, with hardening tendency.
