August 22. -^H A bomb explosion here led to the^H discovery of a plot to assassinate King Carlos and the Premier. While the bomb for this purpose was being prepared, it exploded, kil-^H ling the conspirator ana wounding two others. Thirty republicans have been ar-^H rested. A student named Bettincourt, a^H ringleader of the plot, was. making bombs at the moment of the ex-^H plosion. Documents compromising many^H people were found in his apartments.
