Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville stock sale as follows: — A full entry of beef .of mixed qualities. Beef made 23s to 23s 6d per 1001 b, cow beef 21s, best bullocks £9 to £9 15s, others £8 12s 6d to £8 17s ! 6d, light £7 2s 6d to £8 ss, cows £5 l 7s 6d to £6 15s. A good yarding of sheep, including some extra prime wethers and ewes. Heavy wethers 26s Bd, prime wethers 22s Id to 22s lid, light 18s 3d, heavy ewes 24s 3d, others 19s Id, 17s 6d, hoggets 12s lid, to 13s Id. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report: — There was a fair yarding of sheep, and a good yarding of cattle at Hunterville yesterday. Fat ewes made up to 20s, forward wethers 17s 3d, empty ewes 10s 9d, 2J-year steers £3 16s, 3-year steers £4 16s, forwrd bullocks £5 4s, dairy cows £4 ! to £7 10s. A line of 1100 hoggets I changed hands at a satisfactory figure. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their Hastings sale* yesterday: — A fair yarding of sheep and cattle and a large attendance of buyers. Fat cows £5 10s to £6 15s, store 4-tooth wethers 19s 3d, store sound-mouth ewes 14s Id, Shropshire cross hoggets, 10s 6d.
