APITI.
(Our Own Correspondent.) A meeting of the Rabbit Committee with Mr Johnston was held on Wednesday (Mr Guy in the chair). The district was well represented, an 4 by all accounts the rabbits are sprinkled all over, although at present they do not seem. to be making any headway in the immediate neighbourhood of Apiti. However, the Inspector impressed on all present that they must hunt bunny down with a vengeance. Mr Guy was appointed chairman,. Mr Elliott secretary, and Mr J. Mclntyre treasurer of the Committee, and it was decided to levy the small fee of 3d on the hundred acres, to cover expenses in connection with nail and advertising, etc., and that the Apiti Committee work j all the district between the Oroua j and Coal Creek rivers, bounded on the north by the Ranges, and on the j South by Hall's track and the \ Apiti bridge. It was decided to | hold meetings monthly. j
