Mr McNab gave an address here last night on the Land Bill, a resolution being carried at the close, on the motion of the County Chairman j that the meeting expresses its gratification that it is the Government's intention to prevent, by means of a graduated land tax, the aggregation of large estates*, and also that the Government intends to retain on the Statute Book the freehold option, and expresses its approval of endowments.
