-♦- — The quarterly sitting of the Oroua Licensing Court was held at the Feilding Court to-day. Present — Messrs A. D. Thomson (Chairman), E. Goodbehere, Wm. Bailey, J. Bruce and A. Richmond. Renewals, of licenses were granted to W. T. Hook, Denbigh Hotel, Feilding : 8. E. Evans, Cheltenham Hotel, Cheltenham, recommendation from the Health officer's report to be carried out by September: J. A. Shapteaki, Halcombo Hotel, Halcombe, recommendations to be carried out; , Geo. 8. Brown, Rangiwahia Hotel, new license granted, Health Department's recommendations to be attended to: Wm. Dickson, Feilding Hotel, Feilding, leave of absence extended to next meeting; Wm. J. Williams, Empire Hotel, Feilding; Wm. S. Poole, Kimbolton Hotel, recommendations to be attended to; D. P. Barrett } Manchester Hotel, Feilding, new license granted; H. Baker, Commercial and Family Hotel, Ashhurst, application for permanent transfer and new license granted, recommendations to be carried out: John Dooley, Ashhurst Hotel, renewal granted, recommendations to be attended to; Sarah Tilsley, Apiti Hotel, application for permanent .transfer and new license granted, recommendations to be attended to; F. 8. Gorrie, application for license for an accommodation house at Raumai, granted; sink to be put in; Barraud and Abraham, application for wholesale license, granted.
