STOCK REPORT.
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their fortnightly sale at Waipukurau on Tuesday, when they offered a good yardiug of both sheep and cattle to a large attendance. Beef sold at up-to-date market values,, but poor cattle were rather neglected. They realised the following prices: — Light fat cows £4, heavier £5 10s to £5 14s, light fat bullocks £6 17s 6d to £7 ss, heavier £8 to £8 ss, woolly lambs 11s to' 13s 6d, shorn lambs 0s lid, fat wethers up to £1, two-tooth wethers (small) 14s, full-n'outh ewes in lamb 10s 6d, small two-tooth ewes in lamb 14s 6d. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held a very satisfactory clearing sale on the 29th iiist-., on account of Mr OetaTius Stonsbury. Kimbolton. Considering the rough cold weather of late, the sheep looked well, and the following are the prices realised: — Two-tooth to f.f.m. ewes in lamb 22b to 23s 3d, ewe lambs 14s lid, wether lambs 12s sd, empty ewes 12s, Romney rams 2gs. The horses and cattle, also implements, etc., sold at full market rates.
