A representative of the Wellington Post has been informed on good authority that the "All Black" team of Rugby footbaUers, which is going Home to play the English Northern Union clubs, is not being organised by a speculative syndicate, as has leen reported in various quartet's. Ihe players are financing themselves, although they have been offered outside financial assistance if it is required. It is stated that prominent representative players invited to join the party have, with few exceptions, consented to make tbe trip. According to the inner circle, a public announcement would have been made seme time ago, but for thd fact thit too many players are offering. This rceessitate- a Selection Committed composed of delegates from each of the four centres meeting and making a final selection. It is stated that before long the public will be taken fully into the confidence of the players, who do not wish to hamper the New ZeaUnd Rvgby Union in any way. It waa the intention to leavo New Zealand after the Australian tour organised by the New Zealand Rigby Union, but the action of the Union in requicing r layers to sign the declaration which was published last week has precipitated matters, s. that the team for England will row probably leave in Jvly, and go Home via Suez, in order to arrive iu time for the opening of the English season. .
