TRAINING NOTES. [m TKUB ASSOCIATION.] Wanganui, May 22. Over 100 visiting horses have arrived for the Wanganui meeting, which opera to-morrow. There is every indication of fine weather, and the most successful steeplechase gathering ever held here is predicted. This morning Le Beau, Recreation and Top Rose jumped hurdles, the former shaping best. Te Kainui and Rahui also jumped fairly well. Ring Billy and Aeolus ran a fast six furlongs. Paritutu and Regulation were' associated over six furlongs, which they did in fast time. Gauze and Swimming Belt cut out five furlongs in lmin 6 1-asec. Flimsnap did a similar journey from a flying start in lmin 4sec. St. Bill took lmin 4 4-6secs for a simitar distance. Marguerite and Kuku ran five furlongs from a standing start in lmm 6seo, the former having a slight advantage at the finish. Pharos jumped fences unattractively. Waitere and Armistice worked on the plough. v Pawa put in two solid rounds. Hurimoana struck a hurdle hard, Whitehouse getting a fall, but was unhurt. Maui, Engraver, Irish, Eclair, Waitapu, Nestator, Waipapu, Motoa, Waicola, Toa Tuhi, Dan Leno, Sedgemoor and a host of, others did useful work.
