Empire Day.
Some difficulty has arisen iv connection with the question of observing either Empire Day "next Friday), or the Prince of Wales' Birthday (June 3rd), especially in view of the stock sale dates. It has been decided by the stock auctioneers to hold their sales on the usual day of the week, and the business people of Feilding will, therefore, keep open ou that day, observing a holiday on the Prince of Wales' Birthday.
