Ashburton, May 16. The weather was fine and attendance good for second day of Ashbarton County Racing Club's Autumn Meeting. Speculation was brisk, the sum of £3765 being invested duriag the day. Results: — Moreton Farrs Hack.— Silkweb 1, Gypsobel 2, Off Chance 3. Scratched : Takaro, Hemlock. Won by a length. The judge placed Gypsobel second though Off Chance appeared to gain the position by half a length. Time, lmin TBsee. Divs, £2 6s and £2 10s. . . Winchmore Welter— Don Orsino 1. Mango 2, Farley Grove 3. Scratched : Roscommon. An easy win. Time, lmin 28 3-ssec. Divs. £2 8s and 16s. Grandstand Hack— Wanoff 1, Lapland 2. Idasa 3. Scratched: Postcard. Wanoff shot out at the distance <ii>d won by nearly five lengths. Time, lmin 41 l-ssec. Divs, £1 2s and £1 Bs. Mount Somers Welter— Tom Tit 1, Kulemma 2, Thyrsus 3. Also started : Antony. The winner led all the way and won by eight lenoths. Time, lmin 30 4-ssec. Divs £28. Juvenile Handicap — Jack Ashore 1, Aimee Soult 2, Glory 3. Scratched: Lupulite, Amokura. Won by a length. Time, lmin 15 l-ssec. Div, £2 Bs. Disposal Handicap — Cerise and Blue 1, Tom Tit 2, Miss Hamilton 3. Scratched: Petard and Kulemma. Won easy. Time, lmin 21 l-s_ec. Divs, £12 16s and £1 10s. Selma Trot — Advance 1. Opihi 2, Success 3. Scratched: The Middy, Bellwind. Won easily. Time, 3min 46sec. Divs, £1 8s and £20 Wakanui Handicap — Lupulite 1, Takaro 2, Jolly Roger 3. Scratched : Ilarita, Silkweb, Amokura. Lupulite was in front all the way and won by a length. Div, £1 14s.
