[per press association.] Wellington May 16. I At a meeting of the Management Committee of the N.Z. Rugby Union to-night a letter was received from Hawke's Bay Union protesting against the Wairoa Sub-Union being attached to Gisborne. Consideration of the matter was deferred for a week. It was' decided that for the North and South Island match seventeen , men be picked for each team, allow- , ing an emergency back and forward. For the N.Z. team to visit Austra- ] lia, it was decided to send twenty-two ; men.
The following will represent the Old Boys II against Feilding on the Show ground at 2.30 p.m. sharp: — Nannestad. Apatari, Puki, Watkins, Lucas, Tawhai, Sexton, Mason, Mullins, Tremaine, Walters, Belfit, Francis, Todd, Green. Emergencies : Hotereni, Scobie, Anderson. The following will represent Kia Toa Juniors against Hui Mai on Saturday at Awahuri:— Hodgins, Neumann. Cannell, Sheerin, Humphreys, Woodhead, Crawford, Harris, Govan, Baigent, Hardie, Brown, Pearce, Martin, Stock. The Palmerston senior team against Feilding will be : —Nicholson, Rev.
