[per press association.] Auckland, May 14. The Auckland butchers were unable to agree with the employees as to wages and conditions regarding slaughtering for the local trade. The ' agreement regarding freezing work will probably be made into an award. Local matters are being held over for hearing next September. 1 The Arbitration Court is coutinui ing its hearing of evidence in the vaterside workers' dispute to-day. With the consent of the fiparties concerned, the Court made an award between the Auckland Cooks' anil Stewards' Union and the Union Co., making the terms of the Wellington award apply to the company in Auckland.
